Topic: Adolescent Behavioral Problems


Introduction
  Hook.
(Perhaps most people know the phrase, “sooner or later, everyone stops abusing drugs.” This is both funny and sad because it says that people will stop abusing either by them or by continuing until they die. Researchers know how hard it is to stop using drugs, so why do people become addicted to drugs? Is it because of outside influences? Is it because of insecurities?)
     Background Information.
(People know that using drugs is one of the greatest risks to the human body, and it is the main cause for several major health problems. In fact, the news tells that there are a lot of people who are dying because of drugs and more people who are suffering from serious health problems because of using drugs.)

       Thesis statement.
(Although a lot of teenagers have grown up hearing that drugs are dangerous. Many adolescent are still becoming drug users, resulting in violent behavior.)



The effects of drugs on teenager’s behavior.

In fact, there are many things that affect adolescent behavior, but drugs are one of the most important roles in that.”


Drug abuse: types and reasons.
A.    Alcohol, Marijuana, Smoking.
B.     Why do teenagers use drugs?

(Drug abuse among adolescents is one of the biggest issues in the world.)


Violent behavior.
  Fighting.
(Violence is not a natural behavior but adolescents learn violence from several things such as fighting in the street, their family and these examples start to influence their behavior. Adolescents are going to be adults, and some of them misunderstand the responsibility of being an adult.)

     Crimes.
(The numbers of crimes are huge, and most of the homicides are done by adolescents.)




   Three treatment solutions for violent behavior and drugs.

1      Medications
2      Psychotherapy
3      Support groups


Summary of the Answers to Sub-questions.
   Are drugs more dangerous for teenagers?
How does it affect their life?
What are some treatment solutions that may help solve the issue?


Conclusion

All in all, many teenagers abuse drugs and suffer consequences as a result. Unfortunately, knowledge of the negative effects of drug use does not prevent many teenagers from using them. As mentioned above, there are a lot of negative effects on teenage behavior such as brain damage, increased anger, and withdrawal.

My 3rd Interview:- 


1.  Preparations:-

     How did I approach people? When, where, and how did I conduct and record the interview?
The girl who I did the last interview told me she can ask her friend to help me in third interview. So, her friend called me Monday 11-18-13 at 9 A.M. and we meet in the Starbucks coffee. She was very friendly and helpful for me.  

    
Whom did I interview?
   Her name is Jule. She is from Nepal. She is students in Saint Cloud State University. She is majoring in computer since. She came to ST.Cloud in 2012. She likes to visit now places.

  Describe the interview. What did surprise me?
The interview was the best interview because we have been talking for more than two hours. It was really free conversation. The part whish was surprising for me is that she is kind of interested to have knowledge about world’s culture.

A- My name is Jule

2- Where you from?

A- I am from Nepal.

3- What is your major?

A- My major is computer science.

4- What is your plan after you done from college?

A- I want to get experience and have job because that’s plan might help me to get a better job in Nepal and have new friends.

5- Do you want to get job in MN or in another state? Why?

A- No, I like MN more than Nepal.

6- How do you communicate with each other in your home country?

A- comminucation in Nepal is hard than any counrty in my opinion because you should know the person very well to start your conversation with him/her.

7- What is the clothing style for men and women?

A- Doura sorloal For men, Dhoti for women.

8- How are women and men treated differently?

A- They are equal In everything.

9- How has your experience here helped you interpret and respect cultural differences?

A- as i said she likes to have know friends and have enoght knowldge about their culre.

10- Do you enjoy speaking with other exchange students?

A- yes for sure because they have the same problrm as i have.

11- How long have you been in the United States?

A- I have been in United State of America since 2012.

12- Have you been able to visit any other parts of the United States?

A- Yes, I went to Florida as I told you before.

13- What are your home country’s major religions?

A- the highest number of people who believe them believe the Hinduism and the Buddhism.

14- What influenced you to come to the United States? Especially, Saint Cloud State?

A- Some of my friends used to be in St.cloud

15- Do you have any questions for me? I have asked so many of you!

A-   Do know how I can make Kabsa which is Saudi traditional food?

M- Yes,

A-   Okay, can you tell me how I can make it?

M- Yes for sure, in the beginning you should cut Onion and Tomato and then put it in the pot with oil. Than wait for the onion to get kind of black than put the chicken with any spices do you have. After that, put a hot water until you cover the chicken. So. Keep it cook for 45 mints. Then, put the rise for  after you clean it very carefully and keep it cook for 20 mints.

In the end you will have the pest meal ever.  ;)

My 2nd Interview:- 


1.  Preparations:-

     How did I approach people? When, where, and how did I conduct and record the interview?
    One day i was walking to catch the bus and I saw one of my classmates in the last sprig semester. So, i run to her and I ask her if she can help me out in the second interview. She answered my by absolutely yes. Then, she said that last meet by next Friday. However, she called me Friday morning to say that she cannot be free today. So, we decided to meet Monday at 3:00 P.M. So, I did the interview with her and the meeting was wonderful. 

    
Whom did I interview?
   Her name is Arika. She is from Nepal. She is students in Saint Cloud State University. She is majoring in computer since. She came to ST.Cloud in 2012. She likes to hinge out friends. 

  Describe the interview. What did surprise me?
The interview was really comfortable for us because we already know each other. It was really free conversation. The part whish was surprising for me is the large cities in Nepal treated women as men, but the twins in Nepal deals with men more than women.

A-    Actually I want to move to another state such as Florida because I went there few months ago  and I like everything in Florida epically weather.

A-    Do you mean by which language??
She said the same as the girl who I met in the first interview the same question. So, that was surprising for me, I asked her do you have more than one language in Nepal?? She said “No” but I do not understand the question. Then, I gave her the same example as before. So, she Answered it by that no one can start talking with somebody who do not know you, that’s might put you in issue.

A-    My Uncle he used to live in ST.CLOUD.
